The Mantrac House is the first full project completed by ECAN. The project serves as Mantrac’s new Headquarters in the Cairo region, and is strategically situated within 15 mins from the New Administrative Capital. A state of the art water treatment plant was installed to treat the water used in equipment washing and general cleaning. The water is then recycled to be reused in washing, cleaning, and other general activities. Despite the difficulties that come with such a complex project, ECAN was able to deliver this project in only 15 months.

ECAN is involved in the Firefighting System Retrofit project at the Mantrac Amreya Facility. This project had lots of complexities, as the facility is old (about 40 yrs old), with little to no architectural drawings, and a lot of missing information regarding the firefighting system. Despite the difficulties, ECAN was able to manage the contractor, and client, to help deliver this project.

Due to our client needs for new office space, our team came up with the idea of repurposing an old warehouse and turning it into office space. This was a favourable approach due to the difficulties of getting permits for a new building in the area.

ECAN was tasked to construct, and deliver 2 Office buildings, and a Lockers/Canteen building. The task was challenging as the delivery time was 12 month. ECAN was able to meet the target, and the official opening was attended by all management levels from Mantrac, and Caterpillar, including Mr. Lotfy Mansour, and The Vice President of Caterpillar.

The new Mantrac Monrovia facility is currently considered the biggest construction project in Liberia (Dec 2019).

The new facility at Alaro City Freezone is considered a key project for our Client that will serve all of West Africa sites. ECAN had to finalize the design phase and tender phase in record time.

Yekaterinburg, Russia
The new facility at Yekaterinburg is another major undertaking for our Client to solidify its position in the Russian market. ECAN role is the Owner Representative and Key Decision Maker on this project. Consultancy is provided by a local consultant according to Russian Laws. The project is estimated to cost around 15 Million USD. It consists of a Showroom, Warehouse, Office Building, and a large Workshop. Due to the nature of the soils conditions at the project site, a total of 728 piles have to be driven for the foundation works, which is considered a major undertaking. Another challenge in this project is dealing with new laws and regulations, and extreme cold weather conditions.
